Wayne Gray has been involved in the Concrete Repair industry and the Protective Coating industries for the past 32 years. He is a certified Australasian Corrosion Association (ACA) Coatings Inspector (#3606), since 2004 and has represented material suppliers, contractors, and asset owners, hence has a broad perspective and knowledge of the construction, mining, and marine industries. Wayne undertook NACE Coating Inspector Certification through 2017-2018.
Wayne has played key Project Management roles in the refurbishment of steel and concrete assets at gold mining plants in the W.A. Goldfields since 2004. This has included QA/QC work with both coating projects and civil upgrades. He has assisted in bringing these plants towards compliance with International Cyanide Management Code (ICMC) requirements.
Wayne has been involved in numerous major tank refurbishment projects within Western Australia, as well as many Corrosion Management Audits and coating inspection projects locally and overseas, including South Korea, Papua New Guinea, Thailand & Democratic Republic of Congo.
Involvement with Cathodic Protection over recent years has complimented Wayne’s corrosion knowledge and versatility.
